Welcome to HolocronProductions.com
HolocronProductions.com is a Richmond, Virginia based role
playing group, founded around 2002.
Originally started as the RPG group for a (former) local Star Wars fan club,
Holocron Productions spun off and grew into the RPG group it is today.
We currently are running THREE different games which
are played in member’s homes at least one Saturday a month. These game dates
are not on a set schedule and are based on majority availability. Currently, we
are playing Star Wars, Star Gate and Eberron. The current group is composed of 6
active players and two semi-active, of which 3 take turns as GM/DM. Ages range
from 21-35, generally. Normal games start promptly at 11:00 am and generally
finish around 9:00 pm.
If you live in the area and are interested in joining us, please let us know. At
this time we may currently have ONE open seat for the SW or Eberron games. If
you are interested, please post in the sticky thread at the top of any game
topic in the forums.

Important Gamer Update |
|
Just a front page "Heads Up" for our Eberron Gamers:
We are gaming on October 24th!!! Not this weekend, next weekend! I had messed up my calendar and lost a weekend in there somewhere.
As Phil would be unable to join us this weekend, we are gaming on the originally posted weekend. If you have issues, please post in the Eberron game thread ASAP!

HcP Tries 4e |
|
On October 24th, we will be trying our hands at 4th Edition Eberron.
All characters should be posted for this 1-shot+ before Sunday October 11th. This will give your DM time to learn your characters and correctly level your foes.
Another note: This WILL be a Halloween game in theme only. We will NOT be costuming!! But I would like everything to be themed for the occasion. This means that snacks and such should be of a Halloween theme, the feel of the game will be spooky and potentially the lighting/decorations will follow suit. If you have questions, please let me know ASAP!

Gaming Dates and More |
|
Gamers,
We will be playing Star Wars NEXT weekend September 26th (unless there is a push in the game dates thread to play Star Gate). On October 24th we will be trying 4th Edition Eberron. Please see the Eberron threads for details on posting characters and background information on the game (DM will post when he is ready).
In other news, the group is invited to join us at BG on October 31st for our annual closing of the Hallowscream event. We have season passes so we can get you discount tickets if you are interested. Please message me for details at least a week before!

Gamer Reminders |
|
Just a reminder to our gamers...
If you play Star Wars and were at the last game (Saturday, July 25) then your character should be 500 points over 12th level. Read the extended text for further details on the SW Game!!!
If you play Eberron, please take a moment to post your Second Level 4e character. Read the additional text for more details on that process and additional information we want.
We will need to schedule our next game, hopefully before the end of August. Please visit the Eberron discussion thread to post your availability.

Next Game and 4e Discussion |
|
This Saturday, July 25th we will finish the current Star Wars Module. We left off with everyone rushing to gain access to Lady Fiero -- since she was removed rather quickly following the gunfight.
We will begin this game at NOON, please arrive no earlier than 11.30am. This should not take very long to finish at which point we will discuss our upcoming dip into the 4e world with Eberron.
For those interested in joining us for 4e Eberron, please come with character concept in mind (preferably one that you have posted in the 4e discussion thread) and some general background ideas. If you have questions, bring them with you.

Updates |
|
There following updates have been posted for all gamer's attention:
* There will be an Eberron game on Saturday June 6th.
* All Eberron players MUST post before Saturday May 30th 11.59 pm stating if they will be attending the game above or face character death and replacement with a character of the DM's choosing :D
* All players should be thinking and posting in the Star Wars RP with their ideas on how best to by-pass security at the hospital on Bespin to speak to Lady F.
* We have implemented a new house rule in light of an issue that popped up. Please see the members only section to read the new rule.
* It is that time again that we must renew the site. If you would like to donate to the cause and keep the website going, please bring your cash donation to the game or pm me for additional methods of donating (paypal).
* Finally, we are discussing ideas/dates for our 4th of July (or there abouts) picnic. If you have ideas or would like to suggest dates, please post.

New Required Post for all Gamers |
|
Please take a moment to look in the Star Wars Role Playing section of the forums for your latest assignment. Each of you have been assigned a "Time" to report to the captain. We are on the second person...Thanks Greg for being prompt :)
This is to figure out which of you is keying in on which part of the plot for the game. So EVERYONE is required to post.
If more than one day passes without your post, you will be assumed to have ignored the request of the Captain, your time will pass and a post will be made for the next person to carry on.
If you have questions, please pm me asap.

We are currently looking for everyone to post with their available game dates. At the same time, we are looking for you to tell us which game you want to play.
Please take a moment to look into the General discussion thread to find the game availability thread for the coming months (May and June).
Also, be cautious of your copy and pasting -- you want the dates only to be bold!

Site and Game Updates |

Just wanted to let everyone know the following:
- Because of continued server issues with our host, you may notice that you
are having to try to re-load pages several times. We are working with
our hosts (and realize that this is the 3-4th time we have encountered this
problem and are looking into other hosts) to correct it asap. If you
find that re-loading pages does not work and you still can not access the
site, please email (or call) Jason or I asap.
- There will be a game SATURDAY April 4th. You may arrive around noon
and we will game until everyone gets sick of playing -- Or I fall asleep :)
- Please remember to bring something to either eat or drink for the
table. Jason and I will have the normal coffee/water and what ever
drinks are still here and closed. We will also be providing some sort
of munchies....not sure yet what it will be.
- If you are to level up your character, you missed that opportunity.
Please bring your character as it is posted. I may have a random
"Character Check" to be certain that they all match up ;)
One never knows.
- The RP section seems to have stalled with the rather dark
"interrogation" of the assassins. I am contemplating just
what effect this is going to have on your interactions with the Hutt and
EVERYONE should be considering how this will effect their future reactions
between characters. Good and Bad.
- My goal is to FINISH this module on Saturday. If you can not stay
for the better part of the day, please let me know asap.
- And finally, if you are not going to be joining us, please let me know
ASAP. Characters of No-Show players WILL be dragged along and MAY even
face dangers because of your lack of communication.
If you have any questions on any of this, please pm me right away.
